Warren - Charles D. Rowland, 64, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 9, 1951 in Warren, Ohio, the son of John "Jack" and Betty Rowland. Chuck was a graduate of Market St. School. He retired from General Refractory Incorporated in Champion as a labor for 21 years. He enjoyed working on classic cars, going to car auctions and loved helping his stepbrother on his farm. He is survived by his wife Caroline Rowland whom he was married to for forty six years, two children Chuck Rowland of Warren, and Crystal Rowland-Smith of Mentor, eight grandchildren Marissa, Michaela, and Dante Rowland, Cassandra, Destinee, Ashley, Samantha and Montana Smith, a sister Jackie (Bill) Bush of Newton Falls, stepbrother Gordon Kaweckie of Bazetta and a stepsister Donna (Jimmy) Smith of Niles. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Frankie Rowland, a brother Bud Clancy Rowland, two sisters Florence Rowland and Virginia White and stepsister Gloria Gross. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren. Private graveside service will be held later.
