Warren - Charles R. (Dickie) Dixon, Jr., 84, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center. He was born June 6, 1930 in Warren, Ohio the son of Charles R. and Dora Dixon, Sr. He had previously worked at Recovery Drug Store where he had worked as Delivery boy for thirtey two years and the Fairhaven Workshop for three years.. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (Sts. Cyril & Methodist Church). He is survived by a sister Dottie Sabey of Warren, a half brother Ward C. Stephenson of Yuma, AR, three nephews Tom DeScenna of Warren, Bob DeScenna of Howland and David (Margie) DeScenna of Hartford, a niece Linda DeScenna of Sherman Oaks, CA, and six great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A service will be Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Charles name to the Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market St. Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
