Cortland - There will be a funeral service held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 1401 Shaw Ave. Niles, with Pastor John Preusser officiating for Charles M. "Chuck" Loskey, 62, who passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at his residence of a heart attack. Chuck always will be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his sense of humor and meticulous landscaping. He was born April 7, 1951, in Olean, New York the son of Michael and Mary (Federer) Loskey and moved to the Warren area as a young child. Chuck graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and was employed for more than 37 years with Delphi Packard Electric and retired in 2007. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Niles and the IUE Union. Chuck loved golfing and was an avid sports fan, known for his enthusiastic support of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Boston Celtics. He is survived by his two daughters Jaime (Tad) Mellen of Wixom, MI and Jennifer (Michael) Connally of Charlotte, NC., one granddaughter Gabriella and a sister Mary "Shelly" (David) Sterphone of Melbourne, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church 1401 Shaw Ave. Niles.
