Howland - Clyde V. Anthony, 76, of Howland passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Poland. He was born June 30, 1937 in Warren the son of Samuel M. and Elizabeth "Marie" Anthony. Clyde was a 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired in 1994 from Taylor Winfield as a machinist after 31 years. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church and the Warren Moose Lodge 296. Clyde enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening, golf and had a hole in one and traveling especially on cruises. He is survived by his three children Mark J. (Amanda) Anthony of Decator, AL., Stephen M. (Sally) Anthony of Warren OH., and Suzanne C. Anthony-Holsinger of Mayfield Hts. OH, six grandchildren Jacob, Tiana, Emmalee and Ryan Anthony, and Kyle and Spencer Holsinger. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Colleen Anthony whom he married June 21, 1958 and passed away July 18, 2005, and one brother Leonard Anthony. Family and friends may call Monday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
