Howland - Connie M. Fittipaldo, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 with her children by her side. She was born May 7, 1932 in Niles, Ohio the daughter of the late Fred and Connie Laurie. Connie was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Connie married Jim Fittipaldo on October 14, 1950 and they spent forty six wonderful years together before he passed away on March 9, 1996. Connie enjoyed many things in life such as being on the computer, playing video games and reading but mostly she loved visits from her family and the companionship of her cats Misty and Tabitha. Left to celebrate Connie's memory are her children Linda Brickley and her FiancAC. John Samulka and Jim (Linda) Fittipaldo, four grandchildren Chris (Lori) Brickley, Melissa Brickley, Natalie (Sean) Greenwood and Kalyn (Brad) Yeager, seven great grandchildren Ben, Sarah, Lynn, James, Cohen, Easton and Ellie and a brother Andrew (Karen) Laurie of Newbury, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother James Laurie. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to Manor at Autumn Hills and Hospice of the Valley for there compassionate care for Mom. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel with Rev. Thomas J. McCarthy officiating.
