WARREN - Costas "Gust" Mark passed away Sunday December 4, 2016 at St. Josephs Hospital in Warren, OH. He was ninety years old. Costas was born in Fourni, Greece on March 2, 1926 a son of Prodromos and Franzeska Markakis. He served in the Greek Air Force during World War II and then came to the United States in 1948 and has been a resident of Warren since 1992. Costas was the owner operator of Mink Mill Inc. which was located in Manhattan, NY for ten years. Costas was a member of St. Demetrios Church in Warren where he belonged to the Fourni Club. He also enjoyed gardening and playing cards. He is survived by his with Antoinette "Toni" Mark whom he married on April 30, 1950; his sons Peter (Susan) Mark of Flushing, New York and Zachary Mark of Warren, OH; three grandchildren Gust and Lance Mark, and Louiza (Sotiri) Malamis; his great-grandchildren Angelina and Zoe; and by his sister-in-laws Sylvia of Warren, Irene of Ambridge, PA, Sevasti Mark of Athens, Greece; and his brother-in-law Nick. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Phillipa Mark. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Friends may call from 10:00AM until the start the of the service at the church. Contributions may be made in his memory to the church.
