Warren - Danny D. "Dan-Dan" Dann, 59, of Warren went to be with the Lord after fighting a courageous battle with ALS on Wednesday, January 1, 2013 at his sisters residence with his family by his side. He was born January 28, 1954 in Warren, Ohio the son of Sam and Barbara Dann. Daniel was a 1972 graduate of Howland High School. He had worked for the Warren City Schools Maintenance Department. Daniel was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Dan loved God, and enjoyed his family, playing drums and his harmonica, music, fishing and electronics. He is survived by his parents of Warren, two sisters Linda (David) Gilmore of Howland and Renee Dann of Niles, nieces and nephews Jenna (Jason) Stan, Randy (Nichole) Keller, Jr, Ryan (Courtney) Keller and Rachele Keller and a great niece and nephew Austin and Addison Keller. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Solmon and Christiana Dann and his maternal grandparents John and Mary Palonder. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Blessed Sacrament Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 12:00 noon at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in Daniel's name to ALS Association of Western PA. 416 Lincoln Ave. Pittsburgh, PA. 15209.
