Leavittsburg - Dan P. Zubko, Sr., 57, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his residence of Cardiac Arrest. Dan was born January 18, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Vladek and Julia Zubko. Dan came to the Warren area in 1999. He worked for the Norfolk Southern RR as a signal maintainer for the last 14 years. Dan served in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam. He is survived by his wife Lisa Zubko whom he married April 1, 1981, daughter Kate Zubko of Bristolville, son Dan P. (Angela) Zubko, Jr. of Warren, seven grandchildren Sadeez, Emma, Bret, Alek, Gracie, Xander and Owen, brother Frank Zubko of Virginia, sister Irene Walters of Sheffield Lake and a nephew Steven (Jodi) Walters of Sheffield. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers George and Zenon Zubko. A private service was held Saturday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
