Howland - Donald W. "Donnie" Kordes, 66, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital of an extended illness. He was born April 20, 1949, in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Howard and Mary Kordes. He was a graduate of Howland High School and attended Youngstown State University. For the past ten years he has worked for Trac Research in Warren as an abstracter. He had previously owned and operated the Safari Lounge in Rainbow Lanes for 15 years. Donald had belonged to the Westside Maple Leaf Club. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, was an avid sports fan and he was also known as a people person. He is survived by his wife Marjorie "Marge" Kordes whom he married April 19, 1980, three daughters Joyce (Zach) Johnson of Staunton, VA, Christine "Tina" Kordes of Warren and Melanie Kordes of Warren, a brother Howard "Jeff" (Jill) Kordes of Cortland and two sisters Linda Kordes and Sharon Sibera both of Warren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel Warren, Ohio. A Service will be Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Marry Ann Short officiating.
