Warren - Donald E. Ross, 77, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born July 4, 1937 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Jerry and Roma Ross. Donnie was a 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and had attended Hiram College. He retired from the Warren City School System as a Supervisor in the Maintenance Department. Donny owned, trained and raced Trotters mainly on the East Coast. He enjoyed golfing and his dogs, Mick, Mac and, Mo, and his cat. Donnie was known for his giving heart, was always very generous and had a heart for stray animals. Donnie was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary's. Donnie served in the U.S. Marines. He is survived by his family and friends he loved, and who loved him and will always remember him Candace Ross of Virginia, a sister Nancy (Harry) Lucik of Warren, Nieces and Nephews Jerry Jr., Daniel (Suzie), Darren, Abbey, Ron (Debbie), , Rebecca (David) Brugler, Benjamen, Sarah Lewis, Lynne (Monte) Villers, Aubree and Andrew Villers, Wesley, Melanie, Tamara Montgomery and his friends Shelby McElravy, and Mechelle Hillier. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Jerry, Dale and Gene Ross. Per his wishes there will be no calling hours or service.
