Warren - Donald Slapsak, 72, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 9, 1942 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Ivan and Caroline Slapsak. He was a graduate of Warren G. High School. He retired from WCI from the 56" Hot Strip Shipping Department. Donald was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church). He enjoyed playing guitar, spending time with his grand niece and was a music buff. He is survived by his two nephews David Slapsak of Niles and Derek (Amy) Slapsak of Fowler, and great niece Marah Slapsak. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ivan "Bob" Slapsak. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church). A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Warren.
