Mars, PA. – Edith A. "Eda" Guerriero, 98, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, PA.
She was born March 31, 1921, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Augustino and Anna Cellio.
Edith was proud that while her husband was fighting in Europe during WWII, she was working at GF in Youngstown making planes for the war.
She is survived by her two daughters JoAnn (Raymond) Tisone of Howland, and Linda Edwards of Mars, PA. with whom she lived, three grandchildren Anthony (Krystle) Tisone, Benjamin (Sarah) Edwards, and Adam (Kate) Edwards, four great grandchildren Lily, Luca, Leo, and Hunter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Joseph Guerriero, a brother Wery Cellio, and three sisters Carmel Thomas, Pauline DiPiero, and Elaine LaCivita.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren January 11, 2019, burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
