Edward M. Bezusko, 72 of Warren, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born November 13, 1941 in Warren, he was the son of the late John and Anne (Slomcheck) Bezusko and was a life long area resident.

Ed retired from Kraftmaid in Middlefield, where he was an assembler.

He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren.

Ed will be sadly missed by his loving girlfriend Lynne Smith of Warren; his three children Barbara J. Williams of Southington, Stephen E. Bezusko of Howell, NJ and John W. Bezusko of Grand Junction, Colorado; a sister Elaine Martindale of Champion and one grandson Gianni P Bezusko.

Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:20 a.m. at the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service with the V. Rev. Andrew Deskevich officiating will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:20 a.m. in the funeral home before processing to church.

Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
