Howland - Eileen R. Stoian, 71, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026.

Born on March 12, 1955, in Willoughby, Ohio, Eileen was the beloved daughter of the late Calvin and Lillian Thomas. She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1973 and immediately began what would become a remarkable 52-year career with Jensen's Florist in Warren, Ohio. Through her dedication, kindness, and unwavering work ethic, she became a cherished member of the Jensen's family and touched the lives of countless customers and coworkers over the years.

Eileen found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved taking walks through her neighborhood, spending quiet hours reading, and had a special affection for dogs. Above all, Eileen was a God-fearing woman whose faith in Jesus Christ and fellowship with the Body of Christ were the foundation of her life. She lived with humility, grace, and compassion, seeking to serve others and reflect God's love in her daily life.

Nothing brought Eileen greater happiness than her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and an adoring grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her love, encouragement, and steadfast presence will remain a lasting gift to those who knew her.

Eileen will always be remembered and deeply missed by her beloved husband of 51½ years, Daniel Stoian; her children, Emily Sofsky and Doug (Natalie) Stoian; her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Donovan, and Guinevere; her brothers, Denny (Janet) Thomas and David (Marilyn) Thomas; her brothers-in-law, Ted (Georgeann) Stoian and Ed Stoian; her sister-in-law, Debbie Stoian; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by those loved ones who welcomed her into eternal life.

Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the assurance of her eternal home with her Savior. Eileen's legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to her family will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Eileen on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 4 to 6pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.

A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 6pm.

A private burial will be in Howland Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Eileen’s name to First Baptist Church of Howland, 8957 E Market St, Warren, OH 44484.
