Elaine B. Kloc, 83, of Warren, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

She was born February 20, 1930 in Collier, PA, the daughter of the late Florian and Mary Kovach Balas. Elaine was a graduate of Georges Township High School and moved to Warren after her marriage to George Kloc in 1948.

Many of Elaine's favorite activities included gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She had been a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church since moving to Warren.

Elaine is survived by daughters Bernadine Lang and Teresa Carr, sons Tom and Jerry (Cheryl) Kloc; and grandchildren Sara Lang, Aaron and Briana Kloc and Jarrod Carr. She is also survived by two sisters JoAnn Dorgan and Betty Bartock and two brothers Bob and Ed Balas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George and brothers Paul and Junior Balas.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.

A Parastas Service will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with the V. Rev. Andrew Deskevich, pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, officiating.
