Warren – Eleftheria "Liberty" Mitchell, 93, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 8, 1923, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Amorfia Foundoulis.

Liberty moved to Warren in 1948. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She retired from Warren City School's as a secretary at East Junior High and Warren G. Harding High School after 30 years. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren and was the first couple to married at the Church and was the Church Organist for 58 years. She also was a member of Yasou Club and the Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed golfing, gardening and playing the organ and piano.

She is survived by her husband Peter Mitchell whom she married June 6, 1948, two sons Angelo P. Mitchell of Warren and Steve P. Mitchell of Flowermound, TX, two grandchildren Brianna (Jacob) Frank of Houston, TX, and Nicholas Mitchell of Dallas, TX, two great grandchildren Sophia and Brayden, and a brother George Foundoulis DDS of San Francisco, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son William P. "Bill" Mitchell, two brothers Andrew and James Foundoulis and a sister Vera Foundoulis.

Family and friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m.  Trisagion Service and Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.

A Service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
