Warren - Elizabeth "Betty" Kunka, 93, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born April 14, 1923, in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Adela Valiski. She was a graduate of Johnston High School. She retired from Packard Electric from the Quality control department after ten years. Betty was a member of St John Paul II parish (St. Joseph Church) and a member of the Howland SCOPE. She enjoyed square dancing, line dancing, playing cards, board games, traveling especially to Arizona and Florida in the winters. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son Walter A. "Walt" (Kathy Kunka of Cortland, two grandchildren Megan (Anthony) Fritz of Nicholasville, KY, and Haley Kunka of Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Walter Kunka who passed away August 12, 2002, a brother John Valiski, and four sisters Anne Bagden, Genevieve Makar, Stella Schaffer, and Helen Katana. Family and friends may call Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II parish (St. Joseph Church) with Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
