Elizabeth Petrigalla, 96, of Warren, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 5:32 am in St. Joseph Health Center in Warren following a period of declining health.

Elizabeth was born on November 6, 1919 in Monessen, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late George and Pearl Woycio Kuriatnyk.

A homemaker, Elizabeth was a longtime member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Betty Ann (Robert) Blake of Warren; a granddaughter Macala Blake; two sisters Eve Steenberg and Mary Butchko; a brother George Kuriatnyk and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by two sisters Ann Marie Sebben and Pearl Johnson and four brothers Andrew, Frank, Michael and Alex Kuriatnyk.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home, where closing prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. before leaving for the church.

A Devine Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik officiating in SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church with burial to follow in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Elizabeth's name be made to SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 180 Belvedere NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
