Elizabeth C. Stofira, 72, died unexpectedly Monday, April 23, 2012, at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.

She was born Dec. 22, 1939, in Canton.

She was a devoted wife of 53 years and is survived by her loving husband, Byron; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Tom Lesnoski of Niceville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Allie and Megan Lesnoski, and Joshua and Olivia Stofira; and a great-granddaughter, Addison Elizabeth.

Her son, Larry Stofira, preceded her in death in 2008.

Liz will be remembered for her generous and joyful spirit, her love for her family and friends, and the incredible love and inspiration she gave to them.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. June 23 at St. Mary's Church in Warren.
