Palm Beach Gardens, FL. – Elizabeth "Betty" Superak, 92, formerly of  Warren, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in West Palm Beach Florida.

She was born November 20, 1924, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Shandor and Elizabeth Chryst.

Betty was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was the clerk of the Warren City Council from 1972 to 1980 and from 1980 to 1992 she was the secretary for Mayor Daniel Sferra. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren. Betty enjoyed word search puzzles, attending local baseball games in both Ohio and Florida and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild.

She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Superak Willcox of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, a daughter-in-law Kathy Superak of Girard, three grandchildren Shannon (Robert) Superak-Skiles of Girard, Daniel (fiancee Jennifer Ciccone) Superak of Poland and William Willcox  Jr. of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, great grandson Bryant Skiles, and a sister Mary Fenton of Warren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank "Supie" Superak who she married May 18, 1946 and spent 50 years of marriage with until his passing in 1997, a son Dennis Superak, a daughter Mary Beth Superak, and three brothers, Alex, George and Raymond Chryst.

A private family burial and committal service officiated by Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik will be in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna on Tuesday.
