Warren - Elvina F. Casagranda, 97, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Community Skilled Health Care. She was born March 15, 1917 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Angelo and Rose Ferrisi. Elvina was a 1936 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She had worked as a clerk at the Ferris Family owned Grocery Store on Youngstown Rd. and also worked at Packard Electric. She enjoyed playing cards especially 500. She is survived by her stepdaughter Maria Elena (Jay) Beougher of Howland, four grandchildren Tina Marie (Gary) Boyle, Carla Rae (Brent) Olson, Barry and Brenda Beougher, three great grandchildren Hannah Boyle, Ryan Olson and Haley Leyman, two nieces Evelyn and Roselyn Ferris and a daughter-in-law Kay Casagranda of Ft. Myers, Fl. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Emilio "Millard" Casagranda whom she married December 5, 1953 and passed away September 6, 1987, a stepson Emilio "Raymond" Casangranda, two brothers John and Patsy Ferris, and a sister Emma Ferris. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
