Niles – Ethel Mae Ayres, 78, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 18, 1940, in Fowler, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Stein.

She was a 1958 graduate of Fowler High School. Ethel Mae retired in 2018 from the General Motors Fab Plant as a forklift driver after 46 years, and was very involved as an officer and member of UAW #1714. She enjoyed char-pei dogs, NASCAR, and traveling.

She is survived by her son-in-law Tony Callahan of Cortland, a sister Mary Rider of Warren, a sister-in-law Norma Stein of Fowler, and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Chris A. Ayres, a sister Alice Williams, and a brother Earl Stein Jr.

Family and friends may pay their respects Monday, January 4, 2019 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

A service will be Monday at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Crown Hill in Vienna.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ethel Mae's name to Deliverance Temple 1849 West Ave, Warren, Ohio 44483.
