WARREN - Evelyn P. Basista, 82, of Warren, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Autumn Hills Care Center.

Evelyn was born Oct. 22, 1927, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Albert and Anna Schwarz Eheman.

She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Andrew J. Basista; a son, Andrew John Basista of Columbus; and a sister, Georgalene Jacobson of Youngstown.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

The Funeral Mass will be at noon Saturday at SS. Peter & Paul church, preceded by a 11:30 a.m. prayer service at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
