Frances G. Zapata, 85, of Warren, passed away at 9:23 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Hospice House in Poland.

Frances was born on July 19, 1928 in Fort Stockton, Texas, the daughter of the late Rafael and Carmen Guitterez Gonzalez Sr.

She was a member of Blessed John Paul II Parish in Warren.

Frances is survived by her husband Tomas Zapata; a son, Thomas A. Zapata of Warren; a brother, Rafael Gonzalez Jr. of Sheridan, Colorado and a sister, Mary Lopez of Odessa, Texas.

Frances was preceded in death by two brothers.

Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
