Obituary

Frank A. Nastal, 98, of Howland Township, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Mr. Nastal was born in Warren on December 2, 1915 the son of the late Joseph I and Victoria J. (Drozdal) Nastal and was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
After working for 32 years with Van Huffel Sheet and Tube, Frank retired as a supervisor engineer in 1978.
Frank was a highly decorated United States Army Veteran and served his country overseas during World War II.
Frank is survived by his wife of 76 years the former Alice M. D'Amico whom he married on February 10, 1940. He is also survived by a daughter Linda (Lonnie) Reed of Howland Twp., and two sisters Sally Fittipaldo of Howland Twp and Dorothy Welday of Warren; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Mr. Nastal was preceded in death by an infant son David and two brothers John J. and Stanley and three sisters Helen Nielsen, Blanche Ellis and Maryann MacLaren.
Private Services were held on Friday, October 30, 2014 for the immediate family.
