WARREN - George S. Pond, 76, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Hospice House in Poland.

George was born Oct. 22, 1933, in Warren, a son of Stanton and Carolyn Smith Pond. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

George was a practicing attorney in the Warren area for a number of years.

He is survived by his son, David W. Pond of Moorestown, N.J.; daughter, Christin Pond Farr of Bala Cynwyd, Pa.; stepdaughter, Katy Tenstam of Uppsala, Sweden; brother, Raymond B. Pond of Woodridge, Ill.; four grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Reed Pond.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home.
