Warren – George L. Thompson, 72, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at Concord of Cortland after an extended Illness.

He was born November 30, 1945 in Warren, Ohio the son of the Late John and Velma Thompson Sr.

George retired from G.M. assembly Plant in Lordstown in the paint shop for fourteen years. He enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by his four children Tracey (Bill) Welling of Lakeland, FL, Barbara (Jeffrey) Wickline of Lordstown, Deneen Price of Fowler, and George Pappada of Warren, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers Billy (Wilma) Thompson of Loraine, and Larry Thompson of Warren, and two sisters Debby (Victor) Rossi of Champion and Betty Hartle of Ocean Isle, NC.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother John W. Thompson Jr, and a son-in-law James Price Jr.

There will be no calling hours or service per his wishes.
