Warren - Georgene Muresan, 91, of Warren passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her residence. Georgene was born December 25, 1921 the daughter of John and Maria Muresan. She was a graduate of Champion High School. Georgene retired in 1974 from Packard Electric as a stator winder after 32 years. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church. Georgene enjoyed cooking for the Summer Church Camp. She is survived by her four sisters Lena Shipman of Mecca, Virginia Whitacre of Bazetta, Madeline Chronister of Coatesville, PA., and Rebecca "Becky" Chapin of Bazetta, caregivers and nephew and niece John & Diane Ross, III, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, four brothers John, Aurel, George and Pete Muresan, and four sisters Anna Muresan, Aurelia Ross, Mary Spala and Celia McGinty. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Saracusta Service and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church. Service will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Georgene's name to Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church, 1836 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
