Howland - Georgia T. Pantelas, 77, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born July 2, 1938 in Warren, the daughter of the late John G. and Evaline Apostolakis. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Together with her sisters, Georgia managed the family owned Evaline's Bridal Shop for 38 years, until it was sold. She had an innate talent in fashion and design. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. Georgia enjoyed cooking, Greek dancing, but her greatest joy was caring for her family. She is survived by her two children Theodore "Teddy" (Julie) Pantelas of Poland, and Sofia Pantelas-Dovellos of Howland, two grandchildren Nicolette G. Dovellos and Eleni K. Dovellos both of Howland, godson Nick Mavros, her beloved Shih-Poo "Zoey," and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George T. "Rex" Pantelas whom she married May 5, 1957 and passed away December 23, 1994, a brother George J. Apostolakis, four sisters: Mary Spanos, Gladys Mavros, Anastasia "Tessie" Ahladis and Helen Capito. Family and friends may call Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Trisagion Service and Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren. A service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
