Florida - Gladys Ronyak, 77, of Fort Lauderdale Florida passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 do to surgery complications and circulatory problems at Fort Lauderdale Health and Rehabilitation Center. Gladys was born April 7, 1935 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ronyak. Gladys lived most of her life in Warren, Ohio but resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for the last six years with her sister Toni and brother-in-law Ronnie Beal. Gladys was a very hard working lady with a wonderful work ethic. She worked at Allens Bakery when she was younger and Delphi Packard Electric for thirty years. She was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Warren, Ohio and St. Johns Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale. She was a devoted Catholic and loved going to mass. "Aunt Gladys " as everyone referred to her as loved children especially her many nieces and nephews. She loved pets especially her beloved dashound, Sydney. Gladys enjoyed word search puzzles, game shows, dancing, crocheting and crafts. When she was younger she was extremely fond of fast cars and watching them race. Gladys mostly loved doing laundry and ironing even to the point of ironing sheets. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Gladys is survived by her brother Robert (Marlene) Ronyak of Warren, Sister Toni (Ronnie) Beal of Fort Lauderdale, FL., Sister-in-law Joy Monty of Warren, and her many nieces and nephews and their children. She was preceded in death her parents, two brothers Norbert and Jack Ronyak, and two sisters Maryann Cheney and Helen Hughes. Memorial calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Warren, where a memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Rev.
