Warren - Gloria L. Huff, 88, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. She was born December 12, in Binghamton, NY, th daughter of the late James and Mamie Shimbo. She came to Warren and retired from Strouss in the Eastwood Mall as a merchandise counselor after 30 years. Gloria was a member of St. John Paul II Parish (St. Joseph Church) in Warren. She was on the Warren Airport Board (Skeets Airport) and had served as treasure. She is survived by her brother-in-law Louis Lucia of Warren, nieces and nephews Betty (Frank) Cisterino of Port St. Lucie, FL, Doreen and Joseph Shamrock of Warren and Terry and James Shimbo of Elkins, W VA. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold E. Huff who passed away December 22, 1992, a brother Val Shimbo, and four sisters Phyllis Lucia, Elizabeth "Betty" Shimbo, Jeri Shamrock and Lillian Hall. A Memorial Mass will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish (St.Joseph Church) in Warren with Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gloria's name to St. John Paul II Parish 420 North St. NW, Warren, Ohio 44483.
