Obituary

Warren - Harold Francis (Bud) Allard, 84, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. He was born January 5, 1931, Mr. Allard was the son of the late Harold, Sr. and Sarah Allard. He was the beloved husband of Connie Allard, whom he married in 1959, and devoted father of Phillip (Kathy) Allard of Cincinnati, OH and Paul (Alicia) Allard of El Paso, TX. Bud was a 1950 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, member of St. Pius X parish and lifetime resident of Warren. He served his country as a U.S. Army Corporal and Korean War veteran, and was a retired plant manager of Taylor-Winfield Corporation. He was a multi-sport athlete and avid golfer, enjoying a hole-in-one on the 11th hole of the Candywood Golf Course in 2006, and enthusiastic fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland professional sports teams. In addition to his wife and sons, Bud is survived by his grandchildren, Matthew, Margaret, Sarah and Daniela Allard, his brother Robert Allard of Cortland, OH, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Patricia Mancini, Betty Jo Soich and Sally Hill. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church), 420 North Street NW in Warren with Rev. John R. Lody officiating.
