Warren – Helen J. DeGifis, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Joseph Health Center.

She was born May 5, 1925, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Nicholas and Victoria.

She was graduate of Howland High School. She retired in 1980 from Job & Family Services as an administrator after 30 years. She had previously worked at Packard Electric as assembler during WW-II.  Helen was a member of St. Mary's Church in Warren. She enjoyed cross stitching, embroidering, an avid reader and doing yard work.

She is survived by her husband Ralph P. DeGifis, her two children David (JoAnn) DeGifis of Warren, and Elaine (Tim Bauer) Park of Warren, four grandchildren Adrian (Vanessa) DeGifis, Kimberly DeGifis, Matthew (Alison) Park and Richard (Danniele) Park, six great grandchildren and a niece Sandra Newsome.

She is preceded in death by her parents two brothers and one sister.

Memorial calling hours will be Saturday from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.

A memorial service will be at Saturday at 1:30 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Helen's name to St. Mary's Church 232 Seneca St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481.
