Helen M. Renn, 84, of Champion, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 10:20 a.m. in St. Joseph Health Center under the comforting care of Hospice of the Valley.

Helen was born on September 16, 1930 in Warren the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie V. (Olszewski) Mamayek and was a life long area resident.

A homemaker, Helen was a member of St. William Parish in Champion.

Helen was married on October 18, 1945 to Paul L. Renn and they were married for 43 years until his passing on June 7, 1989.

Helen is survived by four children Robert P. (Marisa) Renn of Warren; Joseph A. (Ann Marie) Renn of Warren; Mark Renn of Champion and Linda (James) Robinson of Champion; two sisters Catherine Bowman of Salem and Mary Rudin of Arizona; five grandchildren;; Eric (Carrie) Shockey; Brian (Andrea) Renn; Jennifer (Charlie) Robinson; Sandra Bario Renn-Coss; Megan Miller; and six great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Paul, Helen was preceded in death by three brothers Alex, John and Frank Petrick; and two sisters Stella Rudin and Josephine Lawrence.

There will be no calling hours.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 with Fr. Christopher Henyk officiating in St. John Paul II Parish on North Street in Warren.  Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Helen's name to Hospice of the Valley.
