Niles - Helen M. Rossi, 99, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born March 13, 1917 in Du Bois, PA, the daughter of the late John and Pauline Moore. Helen came to the area in 1951. She had previously worked various jobs including "Rosie Riveter" at the Boeing Factory, and made umbrellas for the Radio City Rockettes in New York City. She was a member of the Cortland Church of Christ. She enjoyed acrylic and pencil painting, and sculpting. She is survived by her children George (Kathy) Rossi of North Jackson, OH, Robert (Candance) Rossi of Orangevill, OH, Victor (Debora) Rossi of Champion, OH, Neil Rossi and Teresa Rossi both of Niles, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Simone Rossi, four brothers Paul, Robert, Jack and Bill Moore and a sister Sarah Moore. Family and friends may call Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio. A service will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Sivard officiating. Burial will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Bazetta.
