California - Helen M. Sabo, 91, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at her daughter's residence. She was born April 11, 1924, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Horvath. She was a 1942 graduate of Leavittsburg High School and had attended Youngstown State University. Helen had moved to California in 1968. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Church in Cypress, California. She is survived by her daughters Irene "Julie" ( Ed) Stetser of San Diego, CA,Nancy (Greg) Wadel of La Mesa, CA, Jane (Bill) Sperry of Buena Park, CA, Susan Figueroa of Paso Robles, CA, two grandsons Fred Guinaugh of Santee, CA, and Eric (Jolyn) Sperry of Streamwood, IL, and a brother Steve Horvath of Champion. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William S. Sabo whom she married May 5, 1951 and passed away June 10, 2012, two brothers John and Joseph "Joe" Horvath and a sister Anna Hillier. Family and friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A committal service will take place after the calling hours at the cemetery with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
