Howland - Helen Schmidt, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Vista Care Center in Mineral Ridge. She was born July 12, 1930 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Annie Prokop. Helen retired as a greeter from Sam's Club after ten years. She enjoyed crafts and traveling. She is survived by her four children Dorothy (Gary) Dishong, Bernard Dziedzic and Frederick (Deloros) Dziedzic all of Howland and Darlene (Tim) Gilmore of Champion, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a sister Margaret Potopovich of Newton Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Schmidt who passed away May 25, 2011, a son George Dziedzic, seven brothers Frank, George, John, Michael Steve, Peter, and Nick, and four sisters Ann, Mary, Eve, and Julie.
