Warren - A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) with Rev. James P. Walker officiating for Helen B. Stefanko, 88, who passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 7:15 a.m. Helen was born March 28, 1924 in West Leisenrig, PA. the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Hudock. Helen came to Warren in 1950 and retired in 1986 from Warren City School system in the cafeteria after 25 years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church). Helen enjoyed shopping, traveling and reading and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her time at Easter Seals adult day center. She is survived by her husband Paul J. Stefanko whom she married June 12, 1948, two daughters Cindy Rowland of Warren, Paulette (Joseph) Kubicina of Cortland, daughter in law Carol Stefanko of Largo, FL, granddaughter Jennifer Stefanko and a sister Irene Gorol of Uniontown, PA.. She was preceded in death by her Parents, son: Lawrence "Larry" Stefanko, grandson: Christopher Coldewey, seven brothers: Mike, Joe, Andy, John, Thomas, Steve and Adam Hudock, five sisters: Ann Wardzella, Mary Zerecheck, Margaret Bozak, Kathryn Shoby and Vernie McCune and son-in-law Robert Rowland. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.
