Iran Sabihi, age 92, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on August 5, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1933 in Neyriz, Iran.

Iran loved gardening, sewing, cooking, reading, and chanting prayers, but most importantly, she loved her family. She leaves behind three children, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, each carrying forward her legacy of faith, perseverance, compassion, and unconditional love. She taught her family that true strength is found in kindness, that faith can sustain us through even the darkest times, and that love knows no borders.

Her deep faith as a member of the Bahá'í Faith shaped every aspect of her life. Though she faced tremendous hardship, she never let it diminish her joy. She was fiercely independent, endlessly optimistic, and greeted every person with warmth. Her smile and unwavering faith inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She lived a long, full life surrounded by those who cherished her until her final moments. Her story is one of extraordinary courage and boundless love — a life beautifully lived, and a soul now at rest, reunited with the husband she patiently waited 36 years to see again. She will be forever loved and remembered.

Iran is survived by her children: Massoud (Shiva) Sabihi, Mahmood (Susan) Sabihi, Mahshid (Behzad) Teimoori; her 6 grandchildren: Sara (Josh) Sabihi, Samira (Nima) Malakooti, Samantha (Owen) Sabihi, Sean (Angelica) Sabihi, Maryam (Vargha) Zarei, Mina (Farhang) Nikakhtar; and her 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mohammad Sabihi in 1990.

Calling hours will be on Saturday August 8, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11am at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, located at 1884 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483.

A service will follow at the funeral home at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bahá'í Fund (open to Bahá'ís only) or the Tahirih Justice Center (open to all) in Iran Sabihi’s name.
