Warren - Irene Frankos, 88, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland She was born January 6, 1926 in Osceola Mills, PA. the daughter of Michael C. and Anna Parana. Irene was the co-owner with her husband Nick of the Buena Vista CafAC. in Warren. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. Irene is survived by her three children Debbie (Robert) Clair of Parker, CO.,Denise Frankos of Warren, and Nicholas D. "Nicky" (Bonnie) Frankos of Warren, ten grandchildren Jerimy (Jennifer) Eaton, Sherity Eaton, Kalyn and Ashley Brown, Sean Clair and twins Natalie Nicole and Selena Irene Frankos, and Kyle Fenton, and twins Sophia Pearl and Nicole Eleni Frankos five great grandchildren Samantha and Austin Eaton and Bella Estrada, Lucianno Alfredo, Genavieve Brown and three brothers John Parana, Michael (Virginia) Parana and William (Barbara) Parana all of Warren, two sister-in-laws Ruth Parana of Warren and Dorothy Parana of Newton Falls, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Irene will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Nick "Uncle Nick" Frankos whom she married January 15, 1947 and passed away May 22, 2007, three brothers, George, Alfred and Martin Parana, and two sisters, Mary Sarantino and Kathryn Moore. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Panachida Service and Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A special tribute for Irene will be held Wednesday June 4th at the Funeral Home. A Service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Deskevich officiating. Entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
