Warren - Irene Glinatsis, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born October 25, 1936 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Theodore A. and Stella Achladis. She was a 1954 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Irene retired in 2006 from Job and Family Services as a secretary after 10 Years and had previously worked at Republic Steel Corporation as the secretary for the Combustion and Utility Department for 18 years. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Senior Citizens, Yasou, Daughters of Penelope, and the Philoptochos Society. She enjoyed Greek dancing, singing, shopping, traveling and loved her pets. Her Passion was for entertaining. She loved to sing and act and was in numerous TNT Productions and Warren Junior Women's League Paint the Town Pink Follies. She is survived by her daughter Stellie Ann Zadroski, two grandchildren Anthony and Christopher, two sister-in-laws Tasia Achladis and Frances "Dolly" Achladis both of Warren, three nieces Stacey, Sophia and Stella, four nephews Ted, Teddy, Nicholas, and Steve, numerous great nieces and nephew and her beloved cat Mia. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Anthony "Tony" and Pete T. Achladis. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. Trisagion Service and Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
