WARREN - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Irene F. Yocum, who went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom Yocum, whom she loved dearly, and their daughter, Lisa Marie Yocum.
Irene was the heart of her family. She was loving, compassionate, and always thinking of others before herself. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved, and she cherished every family gathering, holiday, and celebration.
Christmas was Irene's favorite time of year to decorate. She delighted in decorating her Christmas trees and found even greater happiness in getting gifts for all of the children, taking true joy in seeing their smiles. She loved to dance, shop, and create lasting memories with her family and friends.
A gifted seamstress, Irene enjoyed sewing and even made matching outfits for herself and Tom. She was incredibly talented and seemed to excel at anything she set her mind to. Her creativity, determination, and attention to detail were admired by everyone who knew her.
Summer days were made special by Irene as she welcomed family to gather at her house for swim days, where she found pure happiness watching the children laugh, swim, jump off the diving board and simply enjoy being together. Seeing the people she loved happy was one of life's greatest gifts to her.
Irene leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She will be remembered with deep love by all whose lives she touched, both near and far.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Irene is reunited with Tom and is now at peace in the presence of her Lord. Her love, warmth, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
