Cortland - Jack A. Luscher, 77, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born September 24, 1937, in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Henry and Marie Luscher. He was 1955 graduate of Howland High School where he had lettered in Basketball. He is survived by his wife Barbara Luscher whom he married August 10, 1955, two children Robin Libertino of Cortland, and Greg (Lisa) Luscher of Cortland, two grandchildren Nicole Libertino and BreAnna Luscher, a great granddaughter McKayla Fenestermaker, a brother Robert Luscher of Bazetta a sister Sally (Jack M.D.) Klipple, and his three dogs Sadie, Sebastian "Buddy" and Pepper. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law Scott Libertino. "MAY I GO" May I go now? Do you think the time is right? May I say good-by to pain filled days and endless lonely nights? I've lived my life and done my best, an example tried to be. So can I take that step beyond and set my spirit free? I didn't want to go at first, I fought with all my might. But something seems to draw me now to a warm and loving light. I want to go. I really do. It's difficult to stay. But I will try as best I can to live just one more day. I know you're sad and afraid, because I see your tears. I'll not be far, I promise that, and hope you'll always know that my spirit will be close to you; wherever you may go. Thank you so for loving me. You know that I love you too; that's why its hard to say goodbye and end this life with you. So hold me now, just one more time and let me hear you say, because you care so much for me, you'll let me go today. Memorial calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Hilderman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jack's name to Senior Independence Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
