Warren - James "Jim" Biliuris, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Windsor House in Liberty. Jim was born February 22, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of the late George D. and Nina Biliuris. He was a a lifelong resident of Warren and a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Jim received a Bachelors Degree in Education from Mt. Union Collage and a Masters in Administration from Westminster Collage. He retired from the LaBrae School System as a History Teacher. He was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Jim enjoyed reading especially on History. He served in U.S. Army 196th Regiment combat team in Alaska. He is survived by his cousin and care taker Marika Sarkos of Vienna, sister-in-law Cheryl Biliuris of Columbus, nieces Jennifer (Jeffery) Sydes of New Albany, OH, and Jessica (Jon) Cahen of Columbus and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dr. Dan G. Biliuris. Family and friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. Service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jim's name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481. Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
