Warren - James Stanislaw, 72, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born August 10, 1942, in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Benjamin A. and Angeline Stanislawc. He was a 1960 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He was a proud Navy Veteran. James retired from Copperweld Steel Machine Shop after 36 years and Lakeview School System after 13 years. He loved golf, bowling, baseball and being a little league baseball coach, football and Saturday morning's at the barbershop with the guys. His love of life and giving nature was a gift to family and friends. He touched all who knew him, and his presence was a blessing we will always be thankful for. He will be forever in our hearts and forever missed. He is survived by his wife Mary-Jane Stanislaw whom he married March 20, 1971, two sons Bradford Stanislaw and John-Paul Stanislaw, a daughter Megan Stanislaw all of Warren, two grandsons Parker and Hudson, a sister Rosalind Amsden of Niles, and a sister-in-law Beverly Stanislaw of Wadsworth. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Benjamin A, Stanislaw, Jr. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish with Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Champion. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in James name to Alzheimer's Association Greater East Ohio Chapter 3695B Boardman-Canfield Rd. Suite 301, Canfield Ohio 44406 or St. John Paul II Parish 420 North St. Warren, Ohio 44483.
