Warren - John W. "Caps" Ahladis, 57, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1957 in Warren, Ohio the son of William "Bill" and Anastasia G. "Tessie" Ahladis. He was a 1975 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School where he was on the wrestling team. John worked tirelessly at everything he did, starting very young at Apostolakis Honda with Uncle George and brother Nick. He was a skilled auto body man and industrial painter. Like his mother, he enjoyed music, from Greek to soul. The love of his life was his family, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, brothers and sisters. He was a deeply devoted son and father, and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed. He was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, United Sons of Fourni and Local 935 Painters Union He is survived by his father, William, a daughter Angelia (Jon) Clark, a son Michael Angelo Ahladis, three grandchildren Le'Aunnea, Jonathan Michael and Jaiden, three brothers Nicholas (Amy) Ahladis, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Ahladis, Demetrios "Jimmy" (Nikki) Ahladis, two sisters Arlene (David) DiCesare, and Evangelia (John) Burzynski, his godparents Artemis and Thalia Georghiou of NY, and countless uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Anastasia "Tessie" Ahladis. Family and friends may call Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m. Trisagon Service and Friday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. Service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
