Warren - John M. Flaminio, 89, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. John was born October 17, 1923 the son of Frank and Josephine Flaminio. John retired from Thomas Steel Strip Corporation as a pipe fitter after 30 years. For the last 26 years he was the co-owner with his son of "Kracker Jacks Niteclub" on Youngstown Rd.. He was a member of St Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church). John served in U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Carmella Flaminio whom he married September 29, 1951, four children Frank (Helen) Flaminio of Warren, Joann Pennachio of Warren, Don (Michele) Flaminio of Howland and Tina (Frank) Kiepper of Howland, Nine grandchildren John, Marco, Erica, Dante, Gino, Shawnna, Alan, Alexis and Olivia, two great grandsons Caleb and Brandon and his loving sister-in-law Norma " Auntie" Orsini of Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Don Flaminio, Jr., brother Ralph Flaminio and three sisters Lena Pemberton, Jospehine "Josie" and Rosanna Flaminio. Family and friends may call today (Tuesday) from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) 2532 Burton St. SE, Warren, Ohio 44484. A Mass of Christian Burial will be today (Tuesday) at 1:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Cortland. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Suite 202, Independence, Ohio 44131.
