Warren - John G. Kotsatos, 70, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born April 6, 1945 in Chios, Greece the son of the late George and Barbara Kotsatos. He came to Warren in November of 1968. He retired from WCI as a millwright after 32 years; he was also the Co-Owner with his wife of the Sharon Hotdog Shop on West State St. in Sharon, PA from 1974 to 2002. John was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and the Chios Society. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren. John served in the Greek Army Special Forces Unit. He is survived by his son George J. (Barbara) Kotsatos of Howland, son-in-law Mauro Mariani, three grandchildren John & Nicholas Kotsatos, and Gemma Argyro Mariani, a sister Vivi (Nick) Kalogerou of Warren, nephew Jimmy (Francine) Kalogerou of Hudson, a niece Nicole (Nick) Hazimihalis of Howland a brother-in-law Ioannis Kotsatos of Warren, and a sister-in-law Ioanna Kotsatos of Chios Greece,. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Argyro I."Argie" Kotsatos whom he married July 1, 1973 and passed away March 27, 2003, and a daughter Barbara Mariani. Family and friends may call Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 3:15 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren. Service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
