John "Nick" Zarick, 77, passed away Monday March 3, 2014 at Vista Care Center in Mineral Ridge after a lengthy illness.

Nick was born August 18, 1936 in Warren, the son of the late John and Margaret Zamiska Zarick.

He attended the University of Colorado and was on the Rocky Mountain Rescue Team. Nick served in the United States Army in Europe and after he was honorably discharged, lived for several years in Europe and traveled extensively.

Nick attended Sts Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church where he was very proud of being their first altar boy. He retired from Zamarelli Realty where he had worked for 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing.

Nick leaves his loving family, his siblings, Beverly J. (David) Ferrell of Paoli, PA, Eileen E. Zarick of New York, NY and Thomas J. (Lyn M. Allee) Zarick of Lakewood, OH; his nieces and nephews, David L. Ferrell, Amy E. Avellino, Dana J. Zarick and Thomas M. Zarick.

Calling hours will be Thursday March 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:45 PM. The Funeral Service will be Friday March 7 at 10:00 AM at Sts Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church preceded by a 9:20 AM prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sts Peter & Paul Cemetery,
