Warren – Joseph Marino, Sr., 91, of Warren passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital E.R.

He was born December 14, 1922 in Warren, Ohio the son of Salvatore and Rose Marino.

Joseph retired from Republic Steel as a crane operator and had previously worked at Brainard Strapping. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. He enjoyed traveling and volunteering at Church.

Joseph served in U.S. Army during WW-II.

He is survived by his two children Salavatore "Sam" (Dorothea "Dot") Marino of Champion, and Rose M. Redmond of Champion, six grandchildren Christina (Keith), Gary, Angel, Darla (Steve), Samantha and Mckenzie, two great grandchild Stacia and Lillian, two brothers Guy (Antoinette) Marino of Warren and Donald Marino of Warren, and one sisters Mary Ruggeri of Mayfield Hts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Marino whom he married October 23, 1946 and passed away May 28, 2008, a son Joseph Marino, Jr. and two sisters Bessie Sidote, and Grace Taranto.

Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Rev. James P. Walker officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta with full Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph's name to St. Mary's Church 301 High St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481.
